Chan Chao — "Beloved Moon" — is the teak guesthouse at Laniakea, completed and standing quietly in the shade while the main house rises alongside it. Built entirely in traditional teak, it's a smaller, simpler structure than Laniakea itself, but no less considered — the same craftsmanship, on an intimate scale.

Right now, Chan Chao is home. We're living here while the main house is built, watching Laniakea take shape from the porch. Once construction is complete, Chan Chao will open its doors as a private homestay — a quiet retreat within the wider estate, about 1km from Memories Beach.
