Chotimanee's footings really took shape this week. Steel reinforcement is laid out across multiple sections now, boxed in with formwork and ready for concrete — you can start to see the actual footprint of the house taking form on the ground, trench by trench. Preaw and the head construction supervisor spent some time on site this week too, discussing the layout after a decision to shift the house one metre to the east — a small adjustment, but the kind of on-the-ground call that only gets made by actually standing on the land and looking at it. Chan Chao's tarpaulin shelter is still up in the background, work continuing steadily alongside.
