Laniakea
Week 13
What's Happening:
Chotimanee's second-floor wall panels are complete now, windows framed in, and the whole upper level is starting to read as genuinely finished living space rather than a frame with cladding. From certain angles, especially with the roof fretwork and crests fully on, it barely looks like a construction site anymore.
Downstairs, though, is where the real story is this week: work has started on the ground floor rooms, especially the kitchen. AAC block walls are going up to define the room layout, and you can start to see the actual shape of the space — where the counters, cabinetry, and appliances will eventually go. It's a milestone worth noting, since this is the room that's needed the most careful planning (cutout dimensions, ventilation, appliance fit) of anywhere in the house — seeing the walls finally take shape here is a real step forward.
