Laniakea
Week 12
What's Happening:
Chotimanee is really starting to look like a finished house now. The exterior wall panels are going up plank by plank, and the roof edges are trimmed out with the gold fretwork detailing that gives the whole building its finished, ceremonial character. From the outside, walking past, you'd genuinely mistake parts of it for done — window openings framed, balcony rails on, the whole silhouette reading clearly as Lanna style.
Work has also started on the utility area and garage foundations — new concrete groundwork appearing where the ground floor open space will eventually service the house day to day. One shot catches three of the crew wrestling a heavy timber post upright by hand, a reminder that for all the finished-looking wall panels above, there's still plenty of raw physical work happening at ground level too
